Last week was Valentine's Day here in Brazil and I felt the need to share my feelings about this Special Day with you…
Believe it or not, I used to dread Valentine's Day.
If there was a day that I could remove from the Calendar because it made me feel uncomfortable, it was Valentine's Day…
Seeing couples celebrating Love when I was single and feeling hopeless about having a Real Romantic Relationship felt like a knife being stabbed in my heart…
I was envious of my friends who seemed to be happily in Love in their Instagram posts.
Deep down my stomach, I felt a certain exaggeration in the air and the whole thing just made me sick.
Until…
I learned to change the meaning of it all!
I decided to call it the Day of Love.
And most importantly, I decided to dedicate this Day of Love to the most important person in my Life: Myself!
I became my Most Valuable Valentine!
For many years I'd forgotten what it's like to fall in Love with Myself.
It wasn't until I started learning about the power of my Feminine Energy that I was able to get back in touch with my body and learn how to appreciate myself.
With my new Feminine Energy Coach Training, I started realizing how the fact that I mistreated myself had attracted men who mirrored that back to me in my relationships (see my last blog for more about this huge breakthrough)...
Fortunately, with my new FEM Tools, I was able to shift things…
I felt responsible for my Life and for my happiness and…
I made a decision to learn to Love Myself!
I was willing to change the way I looked at me, so things around me would change.
There's a famous quote by Wayne Dyer that I love that goes like this:
"If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change."
And so I did.
I put on my new glasses and started looking at myself through the Lenses of Love.
I started Dating Myself.
And Valentine's Day became the best Day to show this new Self Love.
I always buy myself a beautiful gift on this day.
And with the gift, I make sure I write the most beautiful Love Note to remind Myself How Much I'm loved!
I love to celebrate my Love for Me!
No matter if I have a partner or not, the number one person I celebrate on this day is myself.
And I also celebrate my Man, my Life, my Health, my Family, my Friends, my Passions, the People who have influenced me, my Dogs, Nature, this Planet, The Universe, The Angels, My Mentors, The Knowledge I have received that has changed my Love Life Forever, …
I just celebrate it all…
Anything that makes me feel good gets to be celebrated on this day!
And I no longer feel the dread of Valentine's day…
I no longer feel the envy…
On the contrary, I now love celebrating other people's Love for each other.
And the more I celebrate others, the more I feel that Love coming back to me…
All because now I come from a place of Trusting That I'm Already Loved!
There's no greater Love than the Love I have for myself!
And this makes me attract Masculine Kings willing to Be the Love that a FEM Queen like Myself deserves to have…
And I wish the same for you!
So my invitation for you today is to make a decision to love the most important person in your Life: Yourself.
Be the Love that you want to attract!
Be that Love for Yourself!
